Seniors, caregivers, and families on Kaua’i are invited to the Kaua’i Elder Law Fair on Friday, September 4, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kaua’i War Memorial Convention Hall, 4191 Hardy Street in Līhu’e. Admission is free and open to the public, with food and refreshments provided. Registration opens at 9:00 AM and presentations begin at 9:30 AM. Paul Greenwood, Esq., a retired elder abuse prosecutor and AARP fraud expert with more than 20 years of experience, will share strategies to protect seniors from modern scams and financial exploitation. Katherine Caswell, Esq., of Kaua’i Estate Law, LLC, will cover essential estate planning tools including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directives. Resource tables from local social service agencies will also be available. The event is hosted by the Legal Aid Society of Hawai’i in coordination with the Kaua’i Agency on Elderly Affairs.
