Congratulations to Mae and Clarence on their recent distinction and mahalo for their contributions to our community. As we joyfully welcome SMP’s 25th Anniversary on June 1, we look forward to serving alongside these special volunteers to help our kupuna, their families and caregivers.
Every May during National Older Americans Month, Hawai‘i’s four county Area Agencies on Aging recognize seniors from each county for their volunteer accomplishments. This year’s national theme is “Age My Way.” Each county received nominations from the public for Outstanding Older Americans. A male and female are chosen from each county.
