If you’re an unpaid caregiver looking to strengthen your skills and provide better support for a loved one, don’t miss this opportunity! Project Dana is hosting a FREE Caregiver Training Workshop on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Waipahu Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, located at 94-821 Kuhaulua Street, Waipahu.
This hands-on training is ideal for those who provide unpaid care to someone aged 60 or older who lives in the community (not in a nursing or care home). The workshop is based on Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care, focusing on two essential caregiving strategies:
Positive Personal Connections
Positive Action Starters
These techniques help caregivers better guide and support seniors through daily tasks while maintaining dignity and compassion. Participants will get the chance to learn, explore, and apply these approaches in a supportive environment.
Seating is limited and filling fast, so register now to reserve your spot!
